The application takes into account glider polars, altitude, speed, distance between waypoints and the wind then computes and displays the information for optimizing your flights. If you’re using FinalGlide on an iPhone, your GPS is already in there and working. iPod touch users will need an external GPS but get all of the same great features as iPhone users do.

All of your track data is logged. Once you’re back on terra firma, you can download the data using the FinalGlide web service. If you need to change any information, you can do so easily, just by providing a plist file.
